yay Dell! I happily type away at one Inspiron E1705 while reading this. Lately I’ve been considering a switch to Apple for my next (distant future) laptop, but if Dell comes out with an eco-laptop I’ll reconsider.
Just do me a favor, Dell, and cut all the crap extra-software out of the computers when you ship them to consumers. It takes me weeks to search and destroy all the promotional junk I don’t want.

I’m glad you are typing on an Inspiron from Dell. Don’t think that greener laptops and desktops are something in the future. Dell is delivering them today. I don’t want to sound too much like a company robot, but I’m really excited and proud of what Dell is doing.
